I never buy a new lipstick shade unless I'm at a beauty counter. I can't handle the thought of buying a new color without trying it on first. But, I definitely don't discriminate against drugstore beauty products, I just typically find myself staring at the endless options, unable to pick just one and leaving with none.
This was all until I found out about the amazing make-up return policy that stores like Walgreens and CVS offer indecisive beauty queens, like myself. My good 'ol blogger friend Cathy, writer behind Poor Little It Girl, wrote the best blog post ever, which promted me to go on my first lipstick testing haul at CVS!
I think I love nude and the bright red (1 & 2), but I was looking for a darker plum so I will probably return 3 & 4. But don't worry guys, I plan to get a full refund and try out some more. P.S. Here's a little trick I use when putting on lipstick: For help "staying within the lines," line your lips using the pointy end of the lipstick first, then fill in the rest. Makes more of a difference than you would think!
